Soprano Miyase Kaptan was awarded the Master of Arts Degree for singing, oratorio and opera from the State Academy of Music, Munich, Germany. She received various awards of honor during opera competitions among them the big international opera competitions in Toulouse / France and Vienna / Austria. She has performed in more than 30 different operas; she has been applauded as Violetta in Verdi’s opera „La Traviata“, as Cio-Cio San in Puccini’s opera „Madame Butterfly“, as Nedda in „Pagliacci“, as Leonora in „The Force of Destiny“, as Lulů in the opera „Lulů“ by Alban Berg... . Several performances have also been transmitted by TV programs in Germany, Austria, Italy and Turkey. 

Miyase Kaptan is gifted with a powerful voice combined with creativity, spontaneity and charisma, which often is pointed out in newspaper reviews, critiques and in TV interviews.  

Frequently she produces concerts and show also with her students.

 

The equally outstanding pianist Costanza Maestranzi-Gottschalk can make use of her broad artistic background to enhance the creativity of the singer.

Costanza Maestranzi-Gottschalk received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees at De Paul University, Chicago (Illinois), USA.  Her teachers were Herman Sharpiro, Alexander Tcherepnin, Leon Fleisher, Aline von Barentsen, Jeanne Marie Darrč, Bruno Mezzana and David Bar Illan. She was a soloist with the following orchestras: De Paul Symphony Orchestra, Chicago, Illinois, Florida Symphony Orchestra with Arthur Fiedler, director of the Boston Pops, Florida Philarmonic Orchestra with Pavle Despalj as director, Stadttheater orchestra Passau /Germany, and presently soloist with the Mantovani Orchestra of New York.
She also was also a soloist in several music festivals in Nice /France and in the European Festival of Passau /Germany and on TV-productions by RAI /Italy, NBC and Orlando TV Florida.
Costanza Maestranzi-Gottschalk accompanied famous sopranos and mezzo sopranos, among them Renata Scotto of the Metropolitan Opera House, New York, Rose Wildes of the New York City Opera and Majda Despalj of the Zagreb Opera House.
Together with the Mantovani Orchestra, she is often on tours outside the USA, recently in China, Japan, Korea and Singapore.

A planned tour in 2006 will bring both artists to Southern Europe and to the Middle East.
